How do I know my Japanese shoe size ?
All our shoe measurements are in centimeters, however we do have a conversion chart into European and American sizes, and we recommend you choose your usual shoe size. The best way to know your centimeter size is to print our FUGU SIZE CHART, and follow the instructions. You will now know your Japanese size.
How to search only in-stock shoes?
Use the search option in the top part of the shop. You can search a specific shoe size and you will get all the shoes we have in stock in that specific size. For example, you can search for 39 or JP23. You can also search for 2 different sizes, for example, write in the search 42, 43 and you will get results for these two shoe sizes.
What is the difference between
Maguro and Sa-Me or
Ka-Ni and Sa-Ba ?
Maguro and Ka-Ni – Flexible and lightweight, suitable for dancing, long walks, and for those looking for a lightweight shoe with excellent grip and unique design.
Sa-Me and Sa-Ba – All the benefits of Maguru and Ka-Ni plus a front protective metal cap, suitable for more strenuous and tough work.
Sa-Me and Sa-Ba are recommended for physical work that requires additional leg and foot protection. The metal cap slightly changes the weight and flexibility of the shoe, but there is no change in the excellent grip and comfort for daily use.
The main difference between the two groups is that Maguro and Ka-Ni have a much softer fit that is narrower and a little bit more pointed in the front; whereas the Sa-Me and Sa-Ba have a rounder shape because of the metal toe cap.
The Maguro fits closer around the foot and has a flexible feel, while the Sa-Me has more of a solid boot look. Some people prefer the one look over the other; it is really a choice of personal preference.
What if the size you sent me does not fit?
Contact us and we will guide you through the next step to return your shoes to us. If they are in the original box, and have not been used outdoors, we will send you the correct size free of postage charges. (We recommend trying your FUGU shoes for size and comfort indoors, and only once you are sure they fit well to take a walk outside).
What if, for any reason, I want to return my order?
We gladly accept returns and exchanges if we are contacted within 7 days of delivery, and items are shipped back to us within 14 days of delivery.
A cancellation of an order must be requested within 24 hours of the purchase.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
How long does it take to get my order?
After receipt of payment, your order is dispatched within 2-3 days. We offer express mail using DHL (5-7 working days), or economy mail (10-21 working days). Delivery time depends on your location and your country’s custom’s protocols.
What payments methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and Paypal.
Are all your shoes vegan?
Yes, we are proud to be 100% vegan. All our shoes are made of cotton mixed with canvas and recycled rubber.
How can I clean my FUGUs?
The best way to wash them and keep them happy is to use a brush soapsuds, and then to allow them to dry naturally. We don’t recommend washing them in a washing machine.
